Outdated egg!
This is an egg for CHICKEN 4, the unsupported old release. You're almost certainly looking for the CHICKEN 5 version of this egg, if it exists.
If it does not exist, there may be equivalent functionality provided by another egg; have a look at the egg index. Otherwise, please consider porting this egg to the current version of CHICKEN.
type-stubs
This extension provides a module which exports stubs for Chicken's type syntax when used with Chicken versions below 4.7.5 which is the version this syntax was introduced with. With Chicken versions >= 4.7.5 it doesn't export anything. This allows code to be type annotated and still be executed and compiled with older Chicken versions.
Constraints
In order to be fully compatible with older Chicken versions it is required to always provide an else branch in the compiler-typecase form. This is because pre-typed Chickens have to always use the else branch even when compiling code.
Example
(module my-typed-module (doubled-number->string) (import chicken scheme type-stubs) (: doubled-number->string (number -> string)) (define (doubled-number->string n) (number->string (* n n))) )
