- build-font DOC BASE-FONTprocedure
Adds a font named BASE-FONT (e.g. "Helvetica") to DOC and returns it. The font is one of the 14 standard PDF fonts, which viewers supply themselves: its outlines are not embedded in the file, so its appearance depends on the viewer. To embed a TrueType font instead, see pdf-truetype.
